AISHA LATIF

TEACHING ASSISTANT

Aisha is working as a Teaching Assistant with the faculty of Finance. She holds an MBA degree form MSD, GCU, Lahore. Aisha has an experience of working as a Assistant Financial Analyst for Monno Investment. Her analytical abilities and quest for knowledge makes her an effective part of the academic team at the department.

ASMA AHMED

TEACHING ASSISTANT

Asma is working as a Teaching Assistant with the faculty of Operations Management & Project Management. She wants to further her career in the field of education and her special interest is in the area of Project Management. She holds an MBA degree from MSD, GCU, Lahore. She is the Gold Medalist of session 2003-05.

FARZOQ AHMAD CHAUDHARY
CORPORATE LIAISON AND PLACEMENT MANAGER

A business education graduate from University of the Punjab, Farzoq Chaudhary has eighteen years of progressive selling, marketing and educational management experience. He has served education department as lecturer and has been teaching marketing and management subjects at Punjab University as visiting faculty. He has worked for a UK based multinational, that provided opportunity to develop relationships with the business world. Since 1998, he has been involved with education and has conceived and established three educational institutions. He has been instrumental in promoting teacher training program for the benefit of private schools at national level with a large Not- for- Profit organization.

Career counselling & guiding students on personal development for better performance at work and training & development are his passions.

HASSAN RAZA SHAH
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Hassan holds an MBA degree from University of Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, USA and Master's Degree in Administrative Sciences from University of the Punjab, Lahore Pakistan. He has worked with different Organizations in managerial positions in Pakistan and a multinational organization in USA.

His work experience spans 15 years.His teaching interests include Strategic Marketing, Marketing Management, Rural Marketing and Marketing of Services. As visiting faculty he has been teaching Marketing and Management for over 12 years at institutions of repute. In addition to teaching, he has been designing and conducting Training courses of short duration in Management, Marketing, Selling Skills, Negotiation Skills, Value Innovation, Motivation, Leadership and WTO.

While teaching remains his focus, he has keen interest in Research on a variety of topics. His Research interests include Consumer Behavior (Turning Post Purchase Behavior into Competitive Advantage), Consumer Promotions, Rural Development & Governance, Poverty Alleviation, ‘Potential Role of Multinationals in Economic Development', Change Management and Management of Human Capital

IMRAN HAMEED
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Imran Hameed has a diverse educational background. He holds an MBA from San Francisco State University, USA and a Master's Degree from The National College of Arts Lahore.

He has taught in a variety of subjects such as Marketing and Business Development, Strategic Management, International Business, Retail Management, Advertising and Promotions, E-Business, and People Management. .

Imran has worked both in U.S. and Pakistan and possesses insight on corporate U.S.A., its strategic and structural makeup, organizational culture, and management style. He has also written numerous short articles on the management of technology in modern business.

KIRAN SALEEM
TEACHING ASSISTANT

Kiran did her Masters in Public Administration from University of the Punjab. She has worked at British Council Lahore and HBL Corporate Centre, Lahore before joining Management Studies Department, G.C. University. She has joined MSD as a Teaching Assistant in April 2006. Her special interest is in the field of marketing and social research.



 

DR. MUHAMMAD IDREES
PROFESSOR

Dr. Muhammad Idrees holds an MBA from The City University, London and PhD from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has worked as Director Finance/Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Massachusetts, where he was responsible for $25 million budget of the Campus Center and the Auxiliary Services. Then he served as the Director Finance and Budget Cornell University, New York. Where he planned, developed and updated academic and administrative policies and procedures for the division of Academic and Campus Affairs. He was responsible for budgeting, financial and operational functions of the division. Currently Dr. Idrees is a Senior Faculty Member of Cambridge College, Springfiled, USA, and Adjunct Faculty Member of Holyoke Community College, Holyoke, USA.

His professional recongnition includes Founding member of PEP Foundation, Inc., Listed in Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Treasurer, Top of the Campus Inc., University of Mass., Amherst, Member Institute of Works Managers, London, Member Board of Directors and Treasurer, A Better Chance Inc., a US based national educational program for under privileged students of academic excellence.

 

NAJAF YAWAR KHAN
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Najaf has an MBA from LUMS and more than 10 years of experience in manufacturing, servicing the most distinguished clients in Morocco, Italy and Pakistan. He then decided to go back to the university for an M.Sc in Information Management from Lancaster.

One of the only two 6* management schools in UK, the other being London Business School. Najaf's teaching interests lie in Operations Management and the technology enabled evolving business models.







SADIR ALI ZAIDI
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Syed Sadir Ali Zaidi has strong educational background in commerce with several years of work experience in banking, both locally as well as internationally. Sadir has B.S. in Finance & Banking and MBA in financial management from USA.

He has worked for banks in USA and in Pakistan and has over 9 years of teaching experience. He has also worked on various research projects such as one for Homeless people in Washington D.C.







TAYYEB ALI KHAN
MBA COORDINATOR

Tayyeb joined Management Studies Department,GC University, as a Teaching Assistant in 2002. He was promoted to MBA Coordinator in September 2005.

He has a professional experience of working as a Credit and Marketing Officer in a leasing company and as an Administrator in a School. His special interests are Management and Entrepreneurship.
